One of Exciton Science’s many strengths is our collaborative disposition. The Centre’s research platforms are structured so that the complementary expertise of our researchers is used to best effect across the Centre’s five nodes. The Centre has strong local and international collaborations with other world-leading universities and research institutions.

The COVID-19 pandemic has prevented Centre members from travelling and created barriers to deepening international relationships. Nonetheless, members were able to collaborate with our partners overseas through online seminars, virtual conferences and other activities. These partners included the University of Bayreuth, the Molecular Foundry at UC Berkeley, Toronto University, Chongqing Institute for Green and Intelligent Technology, and Shandong, Wuhan and Nanjing Universities in China, and Hokkaido University in Japan.
