2020 was undoubtedly a difficult year and a year of change for everyone. Despite these challenges, Exciton Science was able to provide innovative support structures for our members and keep the research progressing while we were all forced apart. In this section of the report you can read about the numerous publications of the Centre, the international collaborations we still fostered, the education and training we undertook, the conferences and presentations we attended remotely, the awards and honours we received and the media stats we smashed. You can also read about how we fared against our KPIs for the year, which despite all the challenges we mostly met and exceeded. And you can see the grants and other income we were awarded that will keep Exciton Science’s research at continuing in a multitude of new directions.
